Carrie
While watching the movie Carrie, many thoughts went through my head. The First one was welcome to college. I have never watched a movie that has started how Carrie did. I felt bad for Carrie because of how the girls were treating her. The Second thought was do some people really life their life that way? Carrie lived a different lifestyle then most others in her school. I mean I've heard of obey your mother and father but the movie took it to a whole new level. Also I was bothered by the movie. All I kept thinking was who would make a movie like this? Then it made scene. The movie was made to get a reaction out of people. It was to show a lesson to the world. I do not plan on watching any more movies like Carrie, but it definitely got a reaction out of me.

Letting Go
Have you ever held onto something for a long time? When really all you need to do is to let it go. Sometimes we feel as if we need to hold onto a part of our past. Lately I have been holding onto a part of my past and holding on is just hurting me more. It keeps me thinking, that the situation in the past can go back to how it was, but in reality it never will. It is in my past for a reason. I feel that god has a life planned out for each of us. He leaves how we react to those situations up to us. I will react by moving forward and learning to find myself. Letting go of the past helps you to look forward to the future and what it holds for you. So now I'm looking up and into the future! Hello world here I come!

"Jailing"
Today in class we were talking about miss communications and today me and my roomie and suitemate went to workout. We were walking down the stairs and a guy walked by and said "hey girl you jailinn?" to my girlfriend. We all stopped for a moment looked confused and were like excuse me? so again plan as day he stated girl is you jailin? My suitemate thought he was talking about the name Jaylen and she said nope her names natalie. I thought it might have been a slang word so we googled it on the way to the gym. Google says Like lowriding but the proper name for it beacuse it started in jail when prisoners got their belts taken of them so they didnt hang themselves, so their pants hung low. Haha but heres the thing we all had yoga pants on that are tight fitting. so now the word Jailin is a joke to us and we walk around saying it in the weirdest ways.
Home is where the Heart is..
Trenton, a small town community where everyone knows everyone, this is my hometown. A town is a place in which you live in; it does not necessarily mean that it’s your home. I’ve got more then one place that feels like home to me and I believe that home is where your heart is. It can be a place where you don’t have to think about anything or a place where you go to think about everything, a place where you feel you belong, a place you feel loved, or even a place that you know like that back of your hand.
My home where I don’t need to think is in one room. The room has mirrors on three walls and is painted a soft shade of pink. It has long ballet bars that run from wall to wall parallel with the floor. The floor is empty except for a stereo that sits in the corner of the studio and plays the tune of the expressions moving through your body as you dance across the floor.
When I’m not dancing I hit the dirt. The softball field is my second home of not thinking just acting upon motion. Sliding into the base, throwing to make the out, bunting to help advance a runner, nothing is more thrilling then winning a big game. Here on the field, my team is my family. We are there for one another; we help each other all to reach the same goal.

Hockeytown is that one place I know like that back of my hand. It is where I’ve grown up with my family. Year after year sitting at row 0 on the ice. Watching the players smash and crash into the glass, as we stand on the chairs pounding. All the family outings, Stanley cup wins, meeting the players, skating on the ice, knowing the ushers and photographers by name, this feels like home to me and what an exciting home this has been to me.
2226 Heatherhill Street, green roof, flowers out front, kids playing street hockey and sidewalk chalk, parents having porch parties and never would a car drive down the street unless they lived on it. This is my house. My house where my graduation and my brothers sweet 16, my mom’s 40th and grandpas 70th Birthday parties were thrown in the backyard. Where the neighbors cut and rolled back their fences so we could have 3 backyards. With the big cirrus tents, d.j.s, candy tables, chocolate fountains, bars, bonfires, slurpee machines, we had the best backyard parties that no one will forget. This is my house and this is where I feel loved no matter how much I mess up, which happens often, it feels like home to me.

I come from these places and theses places are my home
I am from red and white hockey helmets smashing up against the glass as the crowd goes wild,
I am from family finger-licking bbq, #8 downriver
I'm from the flowing dirty D river on which our boat and jet ski ride
I come from music, lights, mirrors and dancing until your toes bleed
I am from the soft cuddling of peanut when going to sleep
I am from the smells of the kitchen filling throughout the house
I come from the small town life of everybody knows everybody
I'm from the backyard parties that no one forgets
I am from the best friends you walk into kindergarten with and out of high school
I come from the let me tell you parents of advice
I am from the smiling and laughing of the struggles in life because of being different
I'm from my street family in which you need anything you just walk into one of their houses
I am from the dirt under my nails of sliding into second base right as the ump calls safe
I come from love, no matter how much you screw up anything, you may be in trouble, you still have the biggest support system possible
